How far is the house from the beach?+
About a 5-minute walk (352 yards). We recommend the Raleigh Avenue beach access — flat, no stairs, with paved and handicap parking, an accessible beach overlook, an outdoor shower, and a porta john. Ferris Avenue is a same-amenities alternate right nearby. No car, no parking hassle — just grab the included beach gear and go.
Is the house dog friendly?+
Yes! Wright by the Beach welcomes dogs, and a crate is provided. A pet fee applies — contact Resort Realty for the current amount.
How does check-in work?+
Keyless entry — you'll get a unique door code before arrival, reset for every stay, so there's no check-in desk or key pickup. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless you've purchased a late departure.
Are linens and towels included?+
Yes — complimentary linens are included and the beds are made before you arrive.
Is beach gear really free?+
Yes. Your stay includes complimentary beach gear through the VayK Life program — think beach chairs, umbrellas, and more, so you can pack lighter.
Can we book a partial week?+
Yes, partial-week stays are accepted (availability varies by season). Pick your dates on the Book page and you'll see what's open.
How many people can the house sleep?+
Up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms: two kings, a queen, two queen-over-queen bunk beds, and a twin, with 3.5 bathrooms.
How do I book, and what is the cancellation policy?+
Booking is handled securely by Resort Realty, the professional management company for the home. When you click Book Now, your dates carry over to their checkout. Cancellation terms follow Resort Realty's rental policies, shown at checkout, or call (800) 458-3830.
Is there a military discount?+
Yes — Resort Realty offers military and customer-appreciation discounts. Mention it when booking or call (800) 458-3830.
Is smoking allowed?+
No, Wright by the Beach is a non-smoking home.
Where do we park, and are there house rules to know about?+
Free parking is available in the driveway; street parking is prohibited between the posted signs and is towed if ignored. Quiet hours run 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and the home doesn't allow fireworks or grilling on the deck.
